Countdown to Vegas!

2,1.....BLAST OFF! Only two more days till I take off to the lovely place of sunshine and hangovers! HAHA. Can't wait!! :) I haven't been to VEGAS since Whitney's b-day party around the exact same time last year (which was a blast by the way).

Things I still need to do:

• Get a pedicure
• Go tanning
• Pack the rest of everything
• Maybe more shopping...
• Work another day ...ugh that will be hard!

I have finally gotten a tanning pass and started to get some color and I really am feeling so much better about myself now that I'm not so white- plus I'm going to Vegas next Tues-Thurs so I need to look tan in my dresses i'm taking :)

Washing my face! I know - this is weird... don't get me wrong, I have always washed my face. However lately, I can't go to bed without doing it- I can't sleep if my makeup is still on and my teeth haven't been brushed, I love washing my face!! haha.

Movie Review: New Moon

Notice the date 11-20-09, it is now two months later that I was dragged to go see this movie. If you read my post about "Road trip w/ Mom" you know I am not a Twilight fan. I watched the first one over Thanksgiving and I wasn't impressed- I thought it was pretty cheesy. I never even got through the first book. BUT, I will now thank my Mom and nieces for dragging me to go see this movie. I LOVED it! (I bought book three yesterday). It could be because Jacob has the nicest body i've ever seen and truly loves Bella.... or the fact that Edward showed up anytime she took a risk and she'd do anything to see his face if it meant risking her life. I better not say much more- but if you haven't seen it, GO SEE IT! Team Edward or Team Jacob... it's a toss up!

Road trip w/ Mom!

This weekend my Mom and I went to go visit my nieces in St. George. We had so much fun, and the weather was GREAT. High 50's all weekend...which might not be warm but it's definately warmer than it is in Pleasant Grove/Vernal. We took the girls and my nephew to an arcade called Fiesta Fun, I'm a kid at heart when it comes to arcades so I had a lot of fun, that night we went to Pizza Factory and then swimming at the hotel. I wanted to go see the movie "Princess & The Frog" .... and my nieces wanted to go see "Twilight-New Moon", I've never seen my mom get so excited. If any of you know me, I am not a Twilight fan, I tried reading the first book and got half way through it in the amount of time it took all my friends to read the first and second one. I never got interested and I thought it was really cheesy....but, turns out I loved the 2nd movie. HAHA. Overall it was a great trip and it felt so nice to get away!!

My best friend Miquel had their baby boy! Cougan is FINALLY here!!!! Unfortunately I wasn't there BUT I will be soon! Then I can post pics :) I'm so happy for her, they have the cutest little family! Love you guys!

Wow! I cannot even believe how fast time flies and how life changes. This girl is one of my best friends, she has always been there for me and has supported me through everything, even when she didn't want to. I know she will be the most amazing Mother to Myla. Unfortunately she now lives in Denver, CO so I won't see her much but I'm so happy for her. New beginning, a family, and the most beautiful baby girl. Looks like I will be going to Denver more often ;) and Skype is now the new chat! haha.

January!

It's the beginning of a GREAT year! I honestly feel like a different person after the New Years countdown- and I LOVE it. Here are some things i'm looking forward to this month:

• Going to Vernal (okay not excited about that)
• Seeing Whitney & Myla
• Hanging out w/ my Grandma!
  
• Visiting Miquel and hopefully the new baby boy!
• Road trip w/ Mom to St. George to see the nieces
• New friends!

Things i'm not looking forward to are:

• Saying my goodbyes to my best friend Whitney :(
