I need birth control ASAP!!
- I need something that won't change my mood, I'm already bitchy. If it helps! Thats even better!

- No acne
- No nausea
- Can't break the bank
I have been really thinking about an IUD and I know where to get one, I want to go with the Copper one because it has no hormones- but for the first 3-4 months you still have a period and horrible cramping. The Mirena is something else I have looked into , another form of an IUD but it has hormones and I'm worried it will make me more moody! I know i'm a girl, and we all have mood swings but I think my boyfriend might go crazy if I get worse.
Anyone have an opinion???? Please post!

I can't help you because I've never been a fan of birth control (the only thing we use is condoms) but I wanted to post anyways so you would know I do read your blog! And I will try to comment more often ;) lol.
Get Implanon. It's an insert they put in your arm and you can keep it in up to 3 years. I don't have a period and everyone else I know who uses it doesn't either. It's different for everyone but I have no complaints and I've tried lots of different kinds and this is my favorite!
I've used the mirena and I love it. I had it when I first got married and I have it now. I've never had any problems with it. I don't have a period anymore, which is awesome! You can keep it in up to five years. Everyone is different so each type of birth control will affect everyone differently. I've heard many girls that use the mirena say that they love it. Hope you find something that works for you!
I was on yaz (not yazmin) for two years and loved it! I know other girls hates it but it worked super well with my body. Super light periods, no hormone change and it actually made me lose weight the first two months and then stayed that way the whole time I was on it. When I got off I instantly gained it back. It also cleared up my skin. Haha it was a miracle pill for me! Now I am starting to take beyaz so I will let you know how that goes. Both are a low dosage so your less likely to get those side effects or the headaches and nauSea, which accompany high dosage options.
I know lots of girls who have gotten pregnant odd the nuva ring, and iud's make me nervous cause i have heard if them messing up peoples fertility. Thats just me being paranoid though.
Just remember they all are going to react differently so it might take a few times to find what you like. Go in and ask your doctor for a sample of low dosage birth control and give it a try. And whatever you do make sure you know how long it takes to kick in so you dot have an accident!

I had mirena and loved it!! I got it put in after my little guy was born in october of 2008! There was minimal cramping! I bled FOREVER after they put it in, but everyone is different! My sister got mirena, spotted for a few days and hasn't had a period since then! I got in put in, in december and bled pretty regularly until february! but after that, ZERO periods! And its totally reliable! Nothing changed about my moods, I didn't get acne, I didn't gain weight! It was awesome for me!
oh, and mirena is effective immediately!
So I know this is a little late,, but I loathed YAZ if you're looking at pills. The hormones were horrible for me and I was a complete nightmare, just ask my husband! I've been nervous about IUDs because of the fertility issues also...
but everything works different for everyone I guess!
Oh, I am on Loestrin 24 and it's nice cause it's only $24/month whether or not you have insurance cause they give you this coupon. It's been great for me so far, no spotting, no nausea, super light periods and no weight gain.
