TIS THE SEASON!

WOW!!! I can't believe it is already DECEMBER! This year went by sooo fast, It seems like yesterday I was enjoying summer. Luckily it hasn't snowed so much this year, I'm kinda hoping it never does hehe.

Things i'm looking forward to are:

• Christmas movies - Grinch, Elf, Christmas Vacation ...ah! I love them all!
• Ugly sweater parties
• Run for reindeer (contest at work)
  
• Christmas shopping
• Gingerbread house making
• Temple Square lights
• Hot Cocoa :) w/ peppermint of course
• My V/S order coming in Dec 11th!
• Busiest month of the year at work!!

• Miquel coming to stay for a couple of days- and seeing Atti :)

YEP! I got extensions, finally :) I love long hair! Also, if any of you ladies are interested...leave me a post and I'll hook ya up. Way cheap, and she's a pro! Just gotta load up on the Tylenol for a couple of days, corn rolls HURT. Hahah

So if you can't tell by the title of this post- I have been dreading this month. A lot of you know why... some of you don't. BUT there are some things I'm excited about.....

• Getting extensions
• Launching a new phone at Verizon
• Whitney's baby to get here :) yaaay!!!
• Spending a whole day with my best guy friend
  
• Thanksgiving!
• Getting together with all the family
• BLACK FRIDAY!
• Making lots of money

and the biggest plan and focus of November is .... GETTING OVER IT and moving on!

Snow

... Winter is coming, and this is how I feel about it...

Maybe i'm just negative but there is really nothing I like about snow. Maybe the fact that the two best Holidays are in Winter...Christmas & Thanksgiving , but other than that I hate it. The cold weather, the chilling winds, everythings frozen, it's always dark, the fog, the icy roads.. ugh. All I like is curling up in my pajamas , with my favorite blanket, drinking warm coffee or hot cocoa and watching Christmas movies. Everything else.. I loathe.

Lately

What I've been missing:

• Going to the movies (I haven't been for who knows how long!) :(
• Lunch w/ my friend Whitney
• Bike rides w/ my roomie - which it's actually FREEZING now so that has something to do with it
• The warm weather

OHHH October- Where'd you come from?

Wow.. I can't believe how fast time has gone, it seems like just yesterday my Summer was starting-now it's almost 2010. SHEESH. As usual, here's the list of things I'm looking forward to in the wonderful month of October:

Why Men Love Bitches

Soo... one of my great friends Alyssa recommended this book to me, I was talking to Kati (my fantastic roomate) about it, and we ended up looking it up online. Luckily books.google.com lets you preview a few pages and lets just say we got sucked in after reading 5 pages from the book. This is a MUST read for any girl out there.. seriously. If it wasn't almost midnight, I would be at the store buying it right now- we have even tried calling Walmart to see if they had it AND looked for the audiobook online. I haven't even read this book and I'm recommending it...haha. Check out the link if you have some time to "preview" a GREAT book!

Beginners Luck

So yesterday I went boating with some friends- waaay fun time and I finally got my courage up and wake boarded for my first time! I guess you could say it was beginners luck because I got up the first time!! I was so proud of myself, even though I was only up for like 5-10 sec... it was still awesome! After that I kept trying and about my 7th time I got up again but for less than the first...then my arms started to go numb haha so I figured I should probably stop before they fell off ..haha. I'll post pictures soon so keep watching!

Already September!

Wow!!! August flew by!! I can't believe its already September, unfortunately I'm getting anxiety because it's getting close to a month I don't want to come (November). BUT... I'm trying to take it as slow as possible... so here's what i'm looking forward to this month!

SOOOO lately I have been pretty confused, you saw my last post about how grateful I am for my life and the things that have happened...well, of course I"m missing someone ONCE AGAIN...and I can't get him out of my head. Day & night... I try and keep myself busy so I don't have to think about him but everyday just gets harder and harder. Part of me thinks I want to get into a relationship and then I actually start getting "into" one and back right out. I think I just like the idea of getting over the love of my life, which I don't know if I ever will. If anyone has any advice... besides "get over it" (cuz i'm trying).... let me know. Thanks :)

Loving Life

So... I really haven't blogged for awhile and I'm not very good at keeping it up to date haha. BUUUUT It's a good thing that I'm not blogging as much as I used to, cuz that means i'm not sitting at home :) .... I really am living my life lately, and having fun doing it, meeting new people, doing new things..loving it all. I find myself thinking about the past 4 months, not exactly thinking "What was I thinking" but more of... "What the HELL was I thinking" hahaha. I can't believe I spent 4 months cooped up at home, not going out and having fun, waiting for a certain someone. Everyone has gotta live life, and my time is now! I hope to live like I've never lived before, and die with no regrets.

I have also been thinking about my life, and where i'm going with it. I have a lot of friends who are married, engaged, pregnant or all of the above. For awhile, I was looking at it with jealousy and envy wondering what I didn't do to get where they are today but I know my time will come. I am SOOOO excited for all my friends having babies, so many of them :) Now everytime I go shopping, I have to look at baby stuff...haha, these babies will be so spoiled and I can't wait to meet all of them. I have decided that I will start school in the Spring, probably just at UVU unless something changes and I end up moving. I SHOULD move to Salt Lake since I'm there about half or more than half of the week anyway, but...we'll see.

I hope all my friends know how much I love and appreciate them, I really wouldn't be able to make it through the day without all of you! :) Keep smiling, stay positive and ENJOY life!

Movie Review: Funny People

Not as funny as I thought it would be, I don't like movies that are serious mixed in with "funny." Really long...like two and a half hours long... dragged on a lot. Even though there were some pretty hilarious parts, I still probably wouldn't see it again.

One Month

SOOOO today Kati has officially been my roomie for a month! ahahha. Unfortunately...I have plans and she works late so we can celebrate another time, but I just love this girl and I'm so glad she lives with me!

WOW! Time flies... I can't believe we are already in the month of August. I have had a lot of things happen in the last month, and I'm excited for a lot of things coming.. so here we go!

What I've Been Doing....

SOOO It's been awhile since I've updated my blog...so here's what's been going on in my life.

• New roomie!!!
  So Kati finally moved in, and I finally don't live alone anymore!! She is such a fun roomate, I LOVE her!! Way excited for all the fun times we have ahead of us! haha.

• Gallavin center- Downtown SLC
  So, every Thursday they have a "free concert" at the gallavin center, we never actually WATCH the concert but we usually hang out with all of our friends and meet new people. SO FUN. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

• My first bar experience...

HA. Well, I turned 21 on June 20th but I never went to bar (stupid, I know). BUT The other night I finally had my first experience, we went to Tony's in Salt Lake..and i'm not gonna lie... I had a lot of fun. haha. Don't have pics though because the girls camera we took them on, her friend accidentally deleted all of them. :(

• "White" party @ Harry Os

OKAY! Not what you think...haha everyone thought I was "racist" when I put this on my facebook. This was just a "theme" party where everyone wears White. haha :) BUT It was SO fun!! 2nd bar experience and I loved it! We rented a condo in Park City to stay at afterwards, which was a good idea- but it turns out it didn't have air conditioning!! UGH. It was about 85 degrees in there all night, we had lots of fans and a deck but it still wasn't nice enough to sleep...so I pulled an all nighter and didn't get to bed until 11am at my house.. BUT...still had a lot of fun :) more pictures will be up soon....

Turning 21

I had so much fun turning 21! Thanks to Madi & Kenzy for making it all so fun! I honestly celebrated for the whole 24 hrs..we started June 20th at 12:00 am @ Madi's house, and it ended at 12:00 am on June 21st at the Wise Guys Comedy Club w/ Sara from work! Thanks guys :)

Movie Review: Year One

...Ha. WOW! This show was pretty hilarious- Jack Black is awesome, and Michael Cera's dry sense of humor made me laugh pretty much throughout the entire movie. If you want to go see a funny PG-13 movie, go see it :)

My New Bike!

SO This is my early 21st bday present :) My 7 speed Beach Cruiser!! haha. Moms words "...Not what I thought I'd be getting you for your twenty-first bday..but alright!" lol. I love it!! I'm so excited to go riding around on days off, and warm summer nights :)

Kelly Clarkson Concert

Where do I start! At first I bought 3 tickets- Me,Kati & Whitney Calhoun were supposed to go, unfortunately Whit had a test to study for :( She was missed though! Kati & I met up with Beau's Aunt (she had saved us seats) and it was kind of cold and rainy. The concert was only $15, and.... It was worth that. I wouldn't have paid more, I don't know if it was because I just wasn't that "into" it...or because we were so far away ha. I think we had more fun watching people try and walk down a muddy hill and fall on their ass. hahaha. That was fun. Anyways, here's some pics...you can see how far away we REALLY were ;)

Movie Review: "UP!"

LOVED this movie :) hah! I'm a kid at heart- what can I say. BUT... I think everyone needs to go see this. I laughed so hard I was crying!!! Such a cute movie- Go SEE IT!

I Love My.....

So, funny story... Beau's mom was in town over the weekend visiting her sister. Well, we decided to have a girls night and so I went over to his Aunts house and Janna says "look what I found." She had found a pair of pants at Smiths Marketplace with a tag that says "I love my....Beau." Who knows what the meaning is behind it, it could just be "boyfriend"....but I LOVE it. haha I love it even more that Janna ripped the tag off of a pair of pants that she didn't even buy just to give it to me :) lol. I love her! This is now hanging in my car on my rearview mirror...call me crazy, but I'm just in love :) haha. Oh P.S. This does not say "I Love My Bean" ;) haha.

Well... Unfortunately my favorite Idol got kicked off last night- It was a surprise to EVERYONE. We all thought Danny would go home after his horrible screaming verison of "Dream On" by Aerosmith..but nope. Now it's down to Adam, Kris & Danny!

Today was my Dad's bday! The BIG 49!!!! I surprised him at work with "German Chocolate Brownies" (his fav) and balloons...then of course, everyone at work had to go get him a last minute "something." HAHA. Then we had an AMAZING dinner; marinated lobster, asparagus, and rice :) YUM! After dinner we played "bowling" on the Wii....and taught Grandma how! That was an experience! haha. ...And Then There Were Four....

I was never really "a fan" of American Idol until my friend Ashley couldn't MISS an episode...and then I got addicted too! HAHA. I'll admit I was a fan of David Archuletta last year- but... before that I never really even watched it. Every Tuesday night they perform and on Wednesday is when America decides who will stay and who will go. Last nights theme was ROCK NIGHT. Adam opened by singing "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin followed by a duet with Kris & Danny singing "Renegade" by Styx. Next was Allison singing "Cry Baby" by Janis Joplin, followed by Kris singing "Come Together" by The Beatles and then Danny took a risk and sang "Dream On" by Aerosmith. LAST BUT NOT LEAST- The Best Duet of all- Adam & Allison blew EVERYONE away with their duet singing "Slow Ride" by Foghat. WOW! I had the CHILLS! I still believe that the TOP 2 will be Adam & Allison!! Can't wait till tonight for ELIMINATION!

In The Last Week....

The PERFECT Day :)

So.. last Thursday was the most PERFECT day ever :) I got to see the love of my life! It has been so long, and we just barely got back together. Seeing him gave me butterflies...holding his hand was GREAT and kissing his face was even BETTER! I love him so much!

SOOO I was TRYING to grow my hair out, back to how it was in High School...but, as soon as it got to my shoulders and I couldn't do ANYTHING with it- I decided to go short again. I also decided to go more blonde.. and I don't know how I feel about either one right now. I like it so far, but I guess I just need to get used to it :)

Old Friends Reunited!

This is my best friend Amanda Branch! She used to live in UT..and then a guy stole her heart, and stole her- and she moved back to her hometown, Georgia. :( I haven't seen her for ALMOST a year, and she came out to visit a "guy friend." Unfortunately this particular guy held her hostage and wouldn't let her do anything else...hahaha! SOOO the only time I got to see her face was when I took her to the airport this morning..sad! BUT...If she finds a good job out here, she just might move back! I'm crossing my fingers!

SOOO. Ash & I decided to have **girls night** and decorate Easter eggs! :) I haven't colored eggs for EVER. Probably since I was ten years old. We had fun though! I think we might have had MORE fun taking pictures :) hehe. Enjoy!
